The Actor’s Playground

Make acting fun again.

Join our stress-free space to play, make bold choices, and keep your craft alive - on your own terms.

Sounds great, but right now..

❌ you’re just focused on actually getting auditions 🎬

❌ adding another acting class (and expense) feels like too much 💸

❌ you feel like you need to master your ability to make the right choices in your scene work first 😰

I get it 💛

Growing as an actor means making big choices that might not always land. But these days all “class” or “workshop” opportunities carry the weight to impress.

✦Impress your coach so they’ll refer you to the agent they know.

✦Impress the casting director so they’ll call you in for their hit show.

✦Impress the director so they’ll think if you first for their next project.

The Playground is different.

WITH THE ACTOR’S PLAYGROUND YOU WILL

But, if you show up to at least 2 sessions and you realize this just isn’t quite for you, just reach out within 30 days of your initial payment, and we’ll refund you.

You have questions, we’ve got answers.

Here are some questions other actors have asked…

  • Sure, you could practice alone, but we both know it’s harder to stay consistent without structure or support. Acting is about give and take - listening is just as important as the lines you say. If you don’t have a scene partner to work against, you’re only doing half of the work.

With The Actor’s Playground you know you’ll have a scene partner every single time, without the hassle or headache of having to beg your roommates once again or spend hours trying to coordinate ever-changing schedules with your acting peers.

  • Getting auditions is important if you’re looking to grow your career as an actor. But what happens when those opportunities do come? The Actor’s Playground helps you stay ready to meet those dream auditions with confidences and preparation, so you can book when the right role comes your way. Regular practice isn’t a distraction - it’s an investment in your craft.

  • I get it - money can be tight and an acting lifestyle can be expensive. That’s why this membership is intentionally prices to be accessible for actors. For a fraction of the cost of a typical acting class or workshop, you can have ongoing support, accountability, and opportunity for growth.

  • Nope, not at all! The Actor’s Playground isn’t a class - it’s a playground. You won’t receive any feedback pushing you to a finished performances before you’ve even had the time to experiment. You won’t feel the pressure to “perform” knowing your coach is assessing whether or not to refer you to their favorite agent.

There’s no pressure because there are no stakes. It’s a space where you can explore and learn to trust your own take on the material, not try to meet the expectations of your teacher. Think of it as your creative gym, where you show up for you, building your self-directing and self-confidence muscles.

  • I’m an actor too, I get it! The life of an actor is always changing and unpredictable. That’s why I’ve designed the program to fit your life, by keeping the sessions short, assigning new partners each session, and keeping cost insanely low.

Can’t make every week? No problem at all! come and go as you please knowing you aren’t wasting money or letting a scene partner down.

  • The Actor’s Playground is for everyone - newbies, working pros, and everyone in between. You don’t need to “earn” your place here. This is about growth, not perfection, and everyone’s invited to play.

  • Absolutely! The Actor’s Playground is for all actors, whether you’re performing on stage, in front of a camera, or behind a microphone.

  • Classes are great for learning, but they often don’t give you enough time to truly explore and l

  • Right now we meet every Monday at 8pm ET / 5pm PT on Zoom for 30 minutes of focused, creative play. It’s short and sweet, so it fits into your busy life while still giving you the structure to stay consistent.

We plan to add even more days/time in the future, and all of these extra sessions will be open to all current members at their existing subscription price. So now is the best time to join.

  • Just bring a scene or monologue you want to work on (if you need suggestions just let me know!). You’ll always be assigned a reader, so there’s never any scrambling to find a partner. The Playground is designed to be as easy as possible, so you can just show right up and dive in.

Why did you first fall in love with acting?

My guess is it wasn’t because of scene study, casting workshops, auditioning, critiques, or networking.

Don’t get me wrong, all of these things are important to your career as a professional actor. But for many of us, when we dive into the grind of “making it” as a professional actor (don’t even get me started on what “making it” even means), we can lose our hold on what we first loved about acting.

Before acting was your career, it was play. It was creative. It was imaginative. It was storytelling. It was fun.

I created The Actor’s Playground as a safe space for actors to reconnect with their playful side again, free from feedback and career stakes that can hold us back from taking risks and stretching our acting chops.

Are you ready for some no-stress, feedback-free, creative time to play?

Hey, I’m Corrie

According to my grandmother, my love for acting began at 2 years old, when she took me to see Peter Pan. I stood on my chair, leaning on the chair in front of me, mesmerized and captivated by the story unfolding before me. And if you know any 2-year-olds, you know that the fact that I stood unmoving for an entire theatrical production is saying something!

From there, I found any reason to act. I auditioned for my school play. I joined community productions. I wrote and directed “Brother and Sister” movies, forcing my uncooperative little brother to be my costar.

My love continued into my studies, and I eventually moved to NYC following undergrad.

But I realized something. As I became more “professional” I also became more “fearful”. I chose scenes to perform that were “right” for me. I chose opportunities that I knew would show my “talent”. I played characters that I could embody in my sleep.

But…sometimes that gets boring. Where is the stretching? Where is the play? Where is the love for the magic of storytelling I found at 2 years old in an obscure community theater in Maine?

With The Actor’s Playground, I wanted to share a space for fellow actors to rediscover the love for acting they naturally embraced as small children playing make-believe.

Will you join me?
