CAST YOURSELF
A 6-month film cohort where you’ll create your own showcase short film starring YOU, then learn how to leverage it to create more opportunities as an actor.
Inside the program you will
1
CREATE.
Develop the role you want to play. Develop a showcase short film around You and the kind of work you actually want people to see you perform.
2
SHOWCASE.
Give people proof of what you can do. Walk away with a finished film that shows reps, casting directors, directors, producers, and other industry pros what you’re capable of.
Because the goals isn’t just to make a film. It’s to build career momentum.
3
LEVERAGE.
Turn your film into career momentum. Learn how to use your film to start conversations, build relationships, strengthen your marketing, and create more opportunities for yourself as an actor.
Cast Yourself is for you if…
✨ There’s a role you KNOW you could play, but no one is giving you the chance to play it.
✨ Your current footage doesn’t show everything you’re capable of.
✨ You’ve thought about creating your own work, but the process of actually making a film feels overwhelming.
✨ You want more control over your career without giving up on auditions, reps, or getting cast in other people’s projects.
✨ You’re ready to stop making someone else’s “yes” the only way you create momentum.
From dream role to career momentum
01. DEVELOP - Get clear on your dream role, workshop your idea, and write a compelling short film with YOU as the lead.
02. PREP - Plan your production, from cast and crew to locations, budget, fundraising, and everything you need to get your film made.
03. SHOOT - Bring your story to life and get your film in the can!
04. FINISH - Navigate editing, sound, and post-production while making sure the finished film showcases your acting AND tells a great story.

You don’t need to become a filmmaker to create opportunities for yourself as an actor.

The Artist’s Way changed my life.
At my very core, I’m a multi-passionate creative. I’m an actor, voiceover artist, filmmaker, writer, knitter…I could go on but you get the idea.
Several years ago, I learned about The Artist’s Way from a friend of mine. At the time, I was feeling artistically inspired, but frustrated by the lack of opportunities that plague so many young actors and creatives living in New York City. So when this friend suggested that we go through the 12-week curriculum together, I agreed, mostly because I was bored. “This will give me something to do” was my mentality.
I had no idea how life-changing that decision would be.
I have since done The Artist’s Way four times. The first time I wrote my directorial debut short film. The second time I tried to go through the program alone and only made it to Week 4. The third time I lead a group of like-minded multi-passionate creatives through the journey. Experiencing the incredible, creative transformation within a community was more empowering than I ever expected.
Which is why I’ve continued to run these live, guided group sessions of The Artist’s Way, to help my fellow artists experience the creative enlightenment that this program granted me and so many others.
I can’t wait to see what this next journey through The Artist’s Way has in store for all of us.

The Artist’s Way is a book by Julia Cameron that includes 12 weeks of readings, prompts and homework designed to help you heal and grow as an artist.
-
The meeting times and days for the next live session will be announced when the program is relaunched.
While attending the Zoom calls can be incredibly valuable, they are not required, so don’t worry if you can’t make some (or all!).
All important program details and support materials will be provided within the online community. Additionally, debriefing prompts posted within the community will encourage connection and sharing at any time during the program.
-
Our weekly calls are there for you to reflect and share openly about your experience with the program. Due to the vulnerable nature of the program and these conversations, weekly calls will not be recorded.
However, if you have any questions for Corrie about the program, you can always send them within the private community!
-
Of course you can! You can absolutely buy the book and try to go at it solo.
Then, when you lose steam around week 3 and fall off the program because you didn’t have anyone keeping you accountable, you’ll reach back out to me and be sad to learn that the program is closed!
Trust me, The Artist’s Way is so hard to do alone. In fact, Julia Cameron herself encourages forming creative cohorts for this journey. You’re going to want the support of a community and guide to keep you going through the challenging, deep, transformative creative work.
I truly felt like I've awaked a creative part of myself through this experience. I highly recommend doing The Artist's Way with Corrie.”
